Cassie Roshu is a photojournalist and photo editor based in Syracuse, NY, passionate about understanding people beyond how they are perceived, demystifying differences while teaching empathy, and energizing those she works with. ​

As a senior staff photographer at The Daily Orange and marketing photographer for Syracuse University, she tells stories of culture and identity in editorial and commercial spaces. ​

She has also used her photography, proficiency in Spanish, and mentor experience to volunteer with youth programs in Oregon and Chile.
